Support/weaving groups for Parkinson's, PSP, MS, ALS etc. groups are forming. We an inclusive studio with classes for everyone.. We welcome disabled beginning or experienced weavers, their caregivers and everybody else to enjoy SAORI improvisatioanal weaving - where you do what a machine can't.

NEWS We have been able to pick uo our three Angora Goats (confusing as it may be, angora only comes from rabbits, you get mohair from angora goats). One of the girls- soon to be known as the Pie sisters- Whoopie, Moon and Pumpkin

Conversion of two of our looms to sectional warps (continuous warps, aka- no warping if desired!) has taken place on two looms- one for chenille scarves , another for rag rugs, white cotton warp that can be "painted" right on the loom, there is also warps on the SAORI looms ready for a weaver. There will be different warps on the looms for different effects and purposes- but you can still make your own and will encourage you to do so. We can provide you with a number of technique options to suit you in that area, but you have the option of jumping right in with the weaving itself and trying warping later.

New Hampshire Art Farms works to provide a peer supported environment for those with Psrkinson's, PSP, MS, ALS sny other challenging disorders and their care givers, if any. Our classes are for everyone, but we are equipped with special looms for those in wheelchairs or anyone who needs to weave one-handed.

...more about us

We recognize small farms, businesses and individuals, that work to enrich the community by support of the visual and fiber arts through production of materials and/or services utilized by artists and craftsman. That affiliation enriches both the community and the art experience itself. Our art support groups benefit from a peer supported/ rural studio environment, as well as those in our classes. ( SEE the calendar page for scheduling)

Currently we offer techniques of traditional weaving, Saori weaving and basket weaving.

Following consruction of our new barn, we may be adding painting classes in oil, water color, egg tempera, print making, silk painting, silk paper making and encaustic!
